Scratch – 4 lesson series (Tuesdays)
August 9 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
This is a lesson series for beginners to coding concepts. We will use the Scratch programming language, which is a visual block based language. It is very easy to get started, but also very powerful and is used by millions of children and adults.
No prior experience is required, but Scratch does require some reading and math comprehension at approximately the mid to upper elementary level. The focus is on a fun initial coding experience and will include topics such as motion, costumes, sound, sensing and events.
This lesson is a series of two hour lessons on 4 Tuesdays in August.
