At SDM we are thrilled to celebrate our 6th anniversary! When we opened our doors on July 11, 2016, our corporate commitment was to provide a minimum of 5 years of free services at our shop on Main St in Melrose. The Board of Directors evaluates this commitment continually, and we can say that we expect to maintain the same model for the next 5 years. This model includes free services, paid staff, and remote services accessible to people everywhere.
To give a sense of our reach, in 6 years we have held over 22,000 appointments and small group lessons with something like 2,000 people. We have produced blog posts, videos, Facebook and Instagram posts which have been accessed thousands of times. We help individuals and small businesses in myriad ways.
Donations Accepted
With the changing financial landscape, we are modifying one aspect of our model. Going forward, we are accepting donations, which we have discouraged in the past. Currently, we are allowing donations online or by check only. We will not accept cash donations.
