Scratch advanced – upper elementary/middle school

July 8 @ 1:00 pm 2:30 pm

Scratch is a block based programming language designed by MIT for teaching children how to code.

This lesson is appropriate for Upper Elementary/Middle School students. As this is an Advanced lesson, we expect that the student should be able to read, follow directions, and do simple math, as well as having  a good understanding of Scratch and know how to create projects.

Advanced concepts include degrees of turn, controlling multiple outputs, and more complex series of instructions including branching and looping.

After online registration closes, please contact SDM for space availability.

This topic can also be taught at any time in individual sessions. Please call for more information.

Cancellation must be at least 48 hours before the lesson begins to avoid further appointment restrictions.
