Scratch basics – upper elementary/middle school

Scratch is a block based programming language designed by MIT for teaching children how to code.
This lesson is appropriate for Upper Elementary/Middle School students. No prior Scratch experience is necessary, but the student should be able to read, follow directions, and do simple math. Basic requires understanding of concepts such as graphing, simple sequencing, moving objects in relation to each other, if-then constructs and grids.
